About the Event

If you have been diagnosed with depression, odds are you have been told there is nothing you can do, but take anti-depressants for the rest of your life. Nothing could be further from the truth.

Instead of calling it mental health, let's call it brain health. When you do that, it becomes easier to see how the rest of your body influences your mind. Everything from your thyroid to your GI tract can both influence and be influenced by your brain health.

When you understand what it truly means to have depression, you can learn how to start taking control over it.
